Yasmin Ibarra is a bilingual Legal Assistant with the Law Offices of Shirley Sadjadi. After interning for a Senator, she realized her passion was to help immigrants in our community. Beginning as a junior legal assistant with the firm, she was quickly promoted to full legal assistant where she assists all of our attorneys in preparing applications for permanent residence, political asylum, removal defense, DACA, consular processing and fiancé visas.
Yasmin received her Associate of Arts from Elgin Community College in 2016 and her B.A. in International Studies / Law and Economics from Depaul University in 2019. She was active in the university’s Latinx organization and took pride in representing Mexican and Mexican Americans throughout the university.
Yasmin is passionate about helping others and protecting every individual no matter their status. She wants to play an active role in ensuring justice for underrepresented communities throughout the area, and in building a better future for everyone regardless of their immigration status, ethnic background, or color of their skin. She takes pride in being there for our clients and assisting them with all of their immigration needs.
